RankMaxing Apply — next cohort

Learn to rank.
Race to #1.

A coaching cohort where you’re taught the exact local-SEO method — then compete on a live leaderboard to rank a real site faster than everyone else in the room.

Taught, not templated. You leave able to do it yourself.

Every lesson you apply earns points. Points climb the ladder.

One program. Two things happening at once.

The school

Learn the exact method

Structured modules, templates, and weekly coaching teach you how to rank a real local business on Google — the same playbook, not theory.

The race

Compete to rank fastest

A live leaderboard turns the lesson into a contest: apply what you learned, earn points, and climb your cohort’s ranks in real time.

How the cohort works

It’s a weekly loop: you’re taught a piece of the method, you apply it to a real site, and the leaderboard turns that work into a race.

See how it works in detail
  1. 01

    Get taught the method

Each week opens a new module in the course: what to change on the site, what to fix on the Google Business Profile, and why it moves rankings. You copy the templates, not guess.

  2. 02

Apply it to a real site

Homework is a live site — yours or a practice business. You do the actual work the lesson describes, then post what you shipped for coaching feedback.

  3. 03

    Earn points, climb the ladder

Completed work and real ranking progress earn points. Points move you up the cohort leaderboard, weekly and all-time — so learning turns into a race.

  4. 04

Post the win, pull the next student up

Wins go in the community feed. You get accountability and momentum from the room, and the next student learns from what you did.

What you learn to rank

Eight modules take you from reading a local SERP to holding a ranking. The full breakdown lives on the curriculum page.

  1. 01

Foundations: how local ranking actually works

Read a local SERP and the map pack, and name the signals Google weighs — proximity, relevance, prominence — instead of chasing myths.

  2. 02

    Keyword & intent mapping

Find the bottom-of-funnel searches a local business can realistically win, and map one intent to one page.

  3. 03

    The Google Business Profile

Set up and optimize a GBP the way the guidelines actually reward — categories, services, description, primary category, and honest NAP.

  4. 04

    On-page & site architecture

Structure a site so each service and location has a real, indexable page with the keyword in the places that count.

  5. 05

Schema, technical & Core Web Vitals

Add valid structured data, keep the site fast, and make sure Google can crawl and index every page you want ranked.

  6. 06

    Reviews, citations & prominence

Build the off-profile signals — consistent citations and a real review engine — that move a business up the pack.

The leaderboard is the point

Courses you never finish don’t rank anything. Here the work is scored: complete the weekly assignment and show real ranking progress, and you earn points that move you up your cohort’s standings — weekly and all-time.

  • Points for shipped work and verified ranking movement.
  • Weekly resets keep new members in the race.
  • Your climb is public to the cohort — accountability, built in.

It all runs inside one community

The courses teach you. The leaderboard pushes you. The group keeps you in it. Same place, every week.

  • Courses — the method, module by module, with the templates you copy.
  • Leaderboard — points for real ranking progress, weekly + all-time.
  • Community — post your wins, get unstuck, pull the next student up.

Proof, not promises

We don’t post fake screenshots or borrowed logos. Member results go on the results page only when a member gives permission to show their real ranking — and never before.

What we can promise is the standard: every ranking claim traces back to how Google’s own guidelines say ranking works, and the method you’re taught is the one we use ourselves. No one can sell you a #1 spot — so we don’t.

  • No guaranteed rankings. Ever.
  • No invented testimonials or star ratings.
  • Real, permissioned member wins only.

Questions, answered straight

Who is RankMaxing for?

Local-business owners who want to rank their own business, and freelancers or aspiring SEOs who want a repeatable ranking skill. You should want to learn the method and be willing to do the weekly work on a real site.

Is this done-for-you SEO?

No. This is a coaching cohort, not a service. We teach you the exact method and you apply it yourself, with feedback. You leave able to do it without us.

Do I need my own website or business to join?

It helps, but no. If you don’t have a live site yet, you can work the assignments on a practice business so you still learn every step hands-on.

What is the leaderboard, exactly?

It’s how the cohort competes. You earn points for completing the weekly work and for real ranking progress, and those points rank you against everyone else in the room — weekly and all-time. The standings shown on this site are an illustrative sample, not real members.

Do you guarantee I’ll rank #1?

No — and you should distrust anyone who does. Google doesn’t sell rankings and neither do we. We teach the method that earns rankings and coach you through applying it.

How much does it cost and when does the next cohort start?

Pricing and the next start date are being finalized. Join the waitlist and you’ll be the first to get the details and an application link when the next cohort opens.

Where does the program run?

Inside a single community — the courses, the leaderboard, and the group feed all live in one place, so the learning and the competition happen together every week.
